Are they only allowed the 2 managers who they have to eternally rotate in some bizarre Sisyphusian manner?
That's wrong, he's only managed them twice, when he went there in 2015, he was just a coach, not the manager.
BBC Posh sack McCann There has been a managerial change in League One - Peterborough United have sacked manager Grant McCann. The former Peterborough midfielder only returned for a second spell in charge of the club in 11 months ago. The man he replaced, Darren Ferguson, is now back for a fourth spell in charge on a deal until the end of the season.
Wonder if they'll ever go for the Ferguson and McCann dream team? If that fails they could always try the McCann and Ferguson option...
It's like the Dutch national team rotating between Van Gaal, Advocaat, Koeman and Hiddink over and over. And Rinus Michels as well, going further back.
Seriously have wondered if clubs could have a team like that.. Ferguson gets them promoted from League One, McCann tries to keep them in the Championship, and if he fails, Ferguson takes over. I guess that's basically what they do..
Sisyphusian... Doffs cap But,you could've simplified this Ernie to 'rolling a huge rock up a long hill, only to watch it roll back down again'?
Portsmouth, Peterborough I see a pattern. I bet the manager of Port Vale is worried! Plymouth manager probably safe though.
Aye, I could... But mastering grammar and spelling and stuff is a task I doubt that I'll ever complete.
