3rd from bottom on points per game. Even lower on actual points achieved, so we were officially one of the worst teams to watch. Congrats to all saints fans for surviving 2022
I am optimistic about NJ, I really have a good feeling about him. Where we are is not his fault at all. He has come into a sinking ship, just look at that 2022 table. We will back him in January and we will come good, the new signings will improve us considerably. It will take a bit of time but we are only a few points from safety, the other clubs near us are also playing ****e so as long as we are better than the worst 3 teams, we will survive. I predict we will actually be safe before the last match.
At least the results went in our favour last night. I have a gut feeling that tonight will not go well. It will not be the pushover that some people believe. I would like to think that there is a swashbuckling performance from Saints and we win something like 4-0. We are well overdue to give another team a spanking. I think a goalless draw is probably more likely with the crowd turning against Jones.
Already checking my watch and counting down the hours, with a mixture of trepidation and, at the same time, bubbling excitement… I just can’t wait for that groundbreaking light show.
Judging by our ability to score goals, the darts will take place in the Notts Forest area, changing ends at half time
Huge game. With our current position and form this is as close to a 6-pointer as you can get given it is still the first half if the season. Rightly or wrongly, anything other than a win will be met with boos and a serious lack of support in both Jones & SR.
Not going tonight. Had the covid excuse v Brighton, got the "can't be arsed to drive to Southampton, find somewhere to park, walk to the ground, probably have an epileptic fit watching flashing lights, then watch 90-95 mins of total dross before having to drive home to Bournemouth" excuse today. Oh that and I don't finish work until 8pm anyway and have a potential 7:30-8:30PM meeting that i may just not avoid today.
Not sure where the “well overdue” came from Ian, unless you actually do just mean time! In that case, personally I’d go for a trophy!
