I think it was or at least some of the series. Starts with Ragnar Lothbrok as the main protagonist

On the off chance you do find anything, skip the rental(and Netflix) and stream it from somewhere else. M4Uhd is pretty handy, though you have to persevere being directed to other websites. Reacher is pretty good, the Blacklist is not too bad though it becomes a bit repetitive plot-wise. I quite enjoyed the Americans, though that might be Netflix. If you can tolerate subtitles, Deutschland is good especially from a zeitgeist/nostalgia perspective.

I watched 1899 last week, I thought it was close to being brilliant, but completely lost its way and just ended up being weird. It had a touch of Peaky Blinders about it, very well shot, using modern music, with good acting, but the story just got progressively more bizarre. I see the planned seasons 2 and 3 have been cancelled and I can't say I'm surprised. It's probably best to not watch the final episode, as there's no real ending anyway.

Also watched Glass Onion, which is also fairly odd, but not terrible (I think the original Knives Out was probably better).

Binge-watched Treason this morning, it's not bad, if a little silly in places. The lead character is entirely unconvincing as the head of MI6, but it's worth watching just because it has the gorgeous Olga Kurylenko in it, as the ex-Russian spy.

The original Knives Out was definitely better. Though I wasn’t overly enamoured with Daniel Craig’s accent.

Agreed on this, although my son disagrees. He loved 1899 too, whereas for me it started well and just plumetted off a cliff edge from middle to end.

I preferred Glass Onion over Knives Out tbh

Interesting franchise if they keep going

Started watching NYC Point Gods, a documentary about basketball point guards from New York, last night.
    Probably finish it tonight.
I think basketball is **** as an overall game, but the individual skill is amazing and it was quite interesting I thought.
Probably only in UK through Showtime on a VPN mind you

Apart from 1899 I watched all the rest recently and drew the same conclusions. I may have posted this before but I really enjoyed Spy Among Friends on ITVX. Also watched Confessions of Frannie Langton on ITVX, thought it was pretty crap.

Just started watching “ Wednesday “
4 episodes in and loving it.
Many years ago I dated a girl
    who was the spitting image
    of Wednesday but had larger
boobs, if you can say that these
days. I was 18 at the time and so
    was she….
and I mean many years ago lol
