I was watching a video of somebody dunking on Andrew Taint's arrest, and they mentioned something interesting: his entire schtick is exactly the same as Davis Aurini's For those unaware, not least because Aurini is so unimportant these days Googling his name will more likely bring up the hbomberguy videos dunking on his innate stupidity, Aurini was posting manosphere bullshit to Youtube that got him noticed especially between 2014-17 - or, to put it another way, the period which featured GamerGate, the Ghostbusters reboot, and The Force Awakens, which Aurini tackled with all the grace and intellect of a drunken rhino during mating season, coming up with such gems as men are Ghostbusters and women run Etsy stores for the Ghostbusters reboot, and men bleed on the battlefield while women bleed on the birthing bed for The Force Awakens But what really stands out is when you look at their respective schtick * Aurini's schtick has him sit there, cigarette in one hand and a tumbler of whisky in the other, as he tells you women were subhuman interspersed with sips of whisky and a drag on his cigarette every time he thinks he's made a knockout point * Taint's schtick has him sit there, cigar in one hand and shot of tequila in the other, as he tells you that women are subhuman interspersed with shots of tequila and puffs on his cigar every time he thinks he's made a knockout point The odds of that being a complete coincidence are remote enough, but where it gets even more obvious is when you see a picture of Aurini please log in to view this image The likeness is uncanny, isn't it? The Times are reporting that Baroness Mone's husband gave the Tories £170,000. They initially turned it down because of his tax status, so he used a company to do it. This was reported by Jo Maugham on Twitter nearly a month ago. Still, it's good to see it being given another airing out, I guess.
