    VVD may be starting to go over the hill, but they've got real problems in midfield. They rely so much on Henderson it's untrue. Not just his play, but his leadership and organization. Add in that as back up they rely on James Milner and you can see real problems when they aren't there for them. That's where they should have spent money in the summer instead of spunking loads on Nunez. That team has needed a bit of tweaking since winning the league, but I don't think that Sloppy has the long-term overarching vision to see it.

    The bad news is that as Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs are doing ****e, the scum will get in the top 4 by default, even with their annual end of season slump.

    Interesting catching a bit of the Brentford manager talking to sky there.

    They picked up on a couple of defensive things to exploit so did coaching, including walk throughs on the pitch, then discussed and tweaked it with the help of videos.

    Earned/bought all the same in that league! They aren't going to slip away this season imo. If anything they will be 3rd pushing hard for 2nd! It appears while they have improved and been steady away all season the others that would usually run away from the rest have had a poor season especially Liverpool who are no where near this season!

    Sheff Utd have shown tonight that they’re nothing special. Wonder where we’d have been if stewart was never injured.

    I don’t know why but I have a sneaky feeling that this season will end the same as last for us.
