This catch taken in the Brisbane vs Sydney Big Bash League yesterday appears to have caused a bit of controversy - out or a six?
My understanding is that if the fielder has played the ball when not in contact with the ground over the boundary rope then the ball is still in play? Therefore out would be the right decision? An anomaly in the law, perhaps? Not quite cricket?
The MCC got into the argument, agreeing that the correct decision was Out, and gave a link to the relevant law - but people still couldn't accept it and argued in that it wasn't out.

All jokes aside, you have to take your hat off to him. 35 years old, metal knee and he has just played over ten hours of top class tennis in 3 days - with this match finishing at 4:00am. And he'll be back for more on Saturday. Makes you wonder about footballers who complain about having to play twice a week for a total of around 4 hours.
I was thinking that he'd been given the run around by a far younger player - until I noticed that the Spaniard was 34, just a year younger.
