    It's funny on there.

    A few are defending Neil on the basis that he took Sunderland to the play offs and won. True enough but the club had already brought in all of those players.

    Johnson had us in third place and two points off top ...

    ... Neil had us finish fifth and eight points off top.

    A cynic might say he took us backwards <laugh>
