Very good finish, shows he can score and needs to be down the middle when played. He just lacks pace strength and height but can finish
Good player and manager response to Crowd and good that they all looked to congratulate each other good spirit
Finally managed to get a link that worked today, so caught the second half, I thought Wigan were the better team early on, got the goal, looked like they were going to get another, their corners were causing trouble all the time. We settled down a bit & Oscar’s scuffed shot gave us some breathing room, but to give credit to Smith for his first goal, he finished beautifully, for someone who’s not been a big part of the first team to finish from a reasonably tight angle, I was impressed. Then his second was a proper strikers goal. I’ll be gutted if Allahyar is out for a long time again, last season & at the start of this one, he looked like a great player, hopefully it’s just a slight injury & nothing serious.
Amazing what a little tweak to a set up can do isn't it, well done Rosie and the players, looking upwards now as the playoffs are now closer then the drop zone. Just a shame we have to break for the FA cup
Not today!! Classic City though, instead of fannying around first half, we should have upped a few gears, put them to the sword, thought about goal difference, but this is how we roll at Hull City, we’ve got there in the end, more uncomfortable than should have been for a short while. Have to say great finish from Smith from a tight angle for 3rd goal. Great work by Slater for making 4th. Impressed that we kept it together after they scored, and had momentum for 10 mins. We finished quite comfortably. Brilliant start to 2023, away win, 4 goals, 3 points, 6/6 points last two games. Can’t say better than that. Coyle at end reminding McLean who his brother is! Mauled. Great away support, we heard you loud & proud, safe journey home. UTT. Oh, and still buzzing!!
Quite a few of us on here I would have thought, including myself, but I've always thought he can finish but lacks pace hence why not great out wide at times.
