He's probably still too good for Livpl. They'll need a fire sale to buy him though whilst praying they finish in the Top 4. Otherwise he's probably off somewhere else.
Again i dont see any crying about spending money, could you quote the bit youre on about specifically? But it sounds like the torch of waste that that fergie left for your last 6 managers to pass on to the next
That's the problem, they shouldn't, it's knock on effect is killing the lower leagues. They are buying up the non league clubs now, even my club has had to succumb to this madness to survive.
Well they haven't every punished anyone for a breach anyway mate I don't think they can. I can't like clubs at lower leagues suffering though we all care alot. What happened with the Saudi that was at your ground? That's what you need a takeover.
They do. Make up a Saudi 'business' to sponsor your corner flags to the tune of ------, like City do, and you're off and running.
Yeah but you can’t just blame individual clubs like you appear to do This was always going to happen from the minute everything went pro Which club it is is almost irrelevant I have never had beef with any clubs spending money within the rules I don’t like it when they break ffp as that is a rule that is in place That’s why I am so down on Leicester as the were caught cheating plain and simple I personally would have allowed the super league to take place and shove all the greedy clubs in there but made it abundantly clear that in making that move they would NEVER return to the domestic league. I include my lot in that then fans could choose local football or the super elite clubs grassroots will never die because it operates with volunteers it is only the pro game that will be under some sort of threat and prob not much at that while people pay the argument levelled at the top end clubs is the same argument that grassroots clubs can throw at semi pro clubs and semi pro to pro clubs - it’s just different levels m my own club were paying players from surrounding areas to play games for them to get better players - daft it should be a pathway for local players only It’s only low level Saturday League but it’s always there as I say grassroots won’t die the lower level pro clubs might but true fans will bring them back just further down the pyramid
Big clubs have always done that sort of thing. Real Madrid sold their training ground for silly money to the council or government didn’t they?
Who promptly gave it back, yes. Not sure that's exactly circumnavigating FFP like City (and the likes of PSG) do, but haven't really considered Real tbh. City do it though, 100%. The idea of FFP is utter bollocks.
