I think he’d be a good option that can play as a 9 and suit our system as we really need someone up there who is strong and can hold up the ball as it’s not Rodrigo, we boot the ball up field and then it comes straight back. Adams would help this imo. May not get loads of goals but if his other work can get others into the game it may create more goals and better play for the team as a whole. Think it’d be a shrewd signing at the right price.

Good point ref cresswell way too young to be ready. But he needs to go on loan with a clause that he plays a certain number of games from the start.

We are keeping that job open for Bamford.

I mentioned on another thread that Millwall was perhaps the wrong destination for Cresswell. Their right hand side centre back Hutchinson is their captain and best defender. Pretty much the first name on the team sheet when fit.

Strange decision in hindsight to send him there. The games he has played he has had good reviews.

    Shackleton not so good.

Che Adams - Yes he might hold the ball up well and be a good team player but he has to take someone’s place

Who would anyone drop for him? Gnonto, Rodrigo, Sinisterra, Summerville, Aaronson when all are available we can only play 4 from 5 and I’ve not included Harrison or Joffy

We need someone better, we’re already full of average or promising

I feel Adams would have helped us at Newcastle more than Rodrigo. Bamford probably would too. I think Adams would be a replacement for Bamford.

Rodrigo is a different kind of striker to the traditional big lad up front.

I'm pretty sure the Che Adams ship has sailed a couple of years ago. He was a beast at Birmingham but that's some time ago now.
