I said day 1 of the story breaking that he roasted our full backs and it'd be fine despite the fee.

thus far he's doing exactly the same to full backs every game.

I can see he's trying too hard to score and doing a Peter crouch but it will be fine eventually.

it's just a shame slah is so **** clue can't pick up the peices and score off this guy.

Far less concerned about Nunez than Salah. Salahs goals are papering over some cracks and most of the game he’s anonymous which is odd as Nunez should be creating loads of space.

Maybe teams still getting close to Salah which is leaving more space for nunes to operate in though?

Well there was one chance against villa there I think he'd have got to a ball down the right channel ahead of the defender and scored from 2 years ago but it was easily just put out of play.

    the pace is going imo.

Salah has been like it for a year, think we just have to accept he's on three other side of the peak now. Giving him that contract was crazy, said it before it was signed and nothing as convinced me otherwise since

It's not his pace, it's his acceleration / explosiveness

salah’s pace is bound to go with age
It’s what he does next that will determine what kind of striker he becomes
Experience is also massive in football
If he starts to take goals in a different manner he will still be dangerous
I think he is more of a threat than Jota - I never feel comfy calling players out but I fear we saw the best of Jota at the start, the injuries look like they have effected his speed already and he does seem to be a player who is in and out of the treatment room
Hope I am wrong but - looks that way to me :(

His close ball control has always been world class. Not the level of Suarez or Messi, but it's up there somewhere. However I think that has gone a bit too along with his pace.

The club were in a difficult position and I guess couldn't lose both Mane and Salah in the same window. But it was probably a mistake paying someone the amounts Salah is on

Preaching to converted I said we should have sold
however if we sell our best players instead of
Rewarding them that also sends out poor signals too

so I wasn’t bothered he stayed
I think he needs to find alternative methods to score now

I thought Salah might get moved more central as time went on similar to Ronaldo where doesn’t have to use pace to beat players and can be more in and around the box to finish off chances.

Problems been not had anyone to play right wing instead of him
