Attacking press is non-existent plus the defence are slightly deeper too. Plus, the ball isn't sticking when passed to the attackers either
it's pretty hard press when nobody ever puts a real challenge in. I'd rather tip over 5 or 6 players giv8ng cheap frees than let side walk up the park easily. my personal favourite was Harvey elliot dancing behind Thomas who was utterly oblivious to the poor lads antics going left and right as he passed the ball back. elliot was 2 or 3 yards away from the guy and just what he thought he was doing I don't know. hell I might even start a Elliott can't ****ing defend YouTube channel at this rate with the amount of clips of ****e I saw today alone. get the lad in the opposition half on the ball. that's his strength
VVD and Trent both spoke well in the aftermath The only thing I don’t get is they know what the issues are, they say they working on them but we just struggling atm Very strange
I reckon Gakpo was watching thinking that if he just hits the target never mind beating the keeper, he'll be doing better than most of the current lot
there was an interesting stat about missing chances flashed up at the game. nunez has the most missed chances but salah was right there just behind him. they are incredibly poor at hitting the target as per Roger's comment about gakpo.
Funny really If nunez and salah had made more of the opportunity's they'd had, we'd be right up there with arsenal and all the umming and ahhing wouldn't occur.
maybe. Leeds and forest were clusterfucks but imo ots a lack of pace of game and really indifferent midfield that's costing us goals and slow starts. it should be nice when we are in need that the forwards would put thr chance away and help the team.put though. I'm sure we missed several chances in all of these games 4 draws, 4 losses. the utd game and arsenal games were deserve losses. the Leeds and forest were complete disasters.
Think someone is gonna be on the end of a hammering at some point as Nunez seems to be the type that will miss tonnes of chances then suddenly bang in a hat trick and we’ll win 5-0
On Nunez while obviously i would prefer him to be taking all these chances the reality is he is pretty much the focus for all our attacking threat from open play .
I'm not worried about Nunez. Been saying for most of the season that he's a quality player. I'd be more concerned if he wasn't getting chances or his head dropped. He gives 100% every single minute and you can't ask for more than that.
