Would kill to have Potter here. Or any competent manager tbf. Calling for his head is harsh, they have a lot of injuries
He will, at approximately 7.25pm on Wednesday when his wristband comes to life as part of the groundbreaking light show.
We are literally run by absolute morons aren’t we. An absolute ****ing shambles of a club. A ****ing light show, now. I actually can’t believe it. Even Rupert Lowe wouldn’t have done that
I wonder if he'd come. Will need to step back down but would think he'd be aiming a bit higher than us still. Ex player though and may work out timing wise if he doesn't want any time out...
Doesthe club understand we Saints fans want a performance worthy on the pitch, and not a ra ra "Look at us, this light show has never been seen at a Premierleague ground before"
Why’s that mate? I had a season ticket in league one. And I was there protesting against Rupert Lowe. So I know ****e owners when I see them
Ironically, it's the diehard fans who would still be around in the championship who are vocally against having a **** light show. The PL tourists, however, will lap it up.
Perhaps our 5 new signings images and names will be protected out, as part as the light show? A never before way of introducing new players. Then again. Perhaps not
The panty twist over a light show is comical. Think of a kid coming to his first game, it could win the club future supporters. It may not be your thing, and I’ll probably laugh about it when there on Wednesday… sadly it isn’t all about us moaners
It just shows the clubs priorities, yet again. Who cares about having a team that can compete in the league? Let’s just paper everything with a marketing gimmick. Absolute tinpot mentality. Last season Everton stayed up because they made Goodison a fortress. This season we are turning st Mary’s into a plastic Coldplay concert. Sums it up
You think the kids that will be pouring through the gates on Wednesday will hate it and have the exact thoughts of it as you? Or will it be memorable and get them wanting to come back?
I’m pretty sure that the person in charge of the light display is different to whoever is in charge of January recruitment, so hopefully the light display shouldn’t impact on any potential signings.
I’m not too fussed either way about this light show stuff but I would think the football will have a hell of a lot more influence on whether kids want to come back. Which reminds me, my first game at the Dell was Saints v Forest in April 1990. 2-0 win, both goals from Rod Wallace. No idea what the pre-match entertainment was.
Nathan Jones started off not that well, it has to be said, after becoming manager at Luton. But then one night, so legend has it, there was a light show at Kenilworth Road. Not just any old light show, I might add. A light show, with wristbands!! Since that moment Luton's success grew and grew and soon all who stood in their path feared them, as they ripped apart the likes of Cheltenham, and Burton Albion, and eventually became one of the greatest mid-table Championship sides ever, or at least for about a season or so.
