I've said time and time again these 'new' refs are shocking, Too many are being 'fast tracked' through the leagues without
gaining the experience needed to handle big games.
They are relying too much on VAR for the major decisions, but it's 'ok' for them to **** up on every other decision outside the box
which changes the course of the game
The more experienced refs are now hiding behind monitors at Stockley Park - where they can influence a game with no questions asked
