We'll give them as rough a game as they have had this season I'm sure. Our defense is quality and they don't have Jesus. I'd be happy if we can scrap a point off them.

Now these game in hand over us are getting played you can see easily though that we are in a real fight to stay in those Champs league places. Our form is unbelievable and sustained but we are still being closed on.

The money is there it’s the ffp.

I’ve heard that we have a nee strip and sponsor. And that sponsor is BIG.

So maybe we have something lined up for Jan.

I think today proves that we are punching well above our pay grade.

But let’s just enjoy the ride. A rollercoaster goes up and down.

Longstaff gets a rough ride on here but....... No team has a first 11 full of celeb superstars. You need the lads in the team that put the solid hard graft in and cover the ground without complaint. This is what Longstaff does. He covers the gaps that allow Tripps and Miggy to bomb on, he covers for Willock and Bruno when they bomb on. He breaks up the play and puts his foot in. Thats his job.

Granted he needs to stop shooting ffs <doh>

This is recognised, without question - same can be said for Wood, but if we're to kick on we need lads that do that, with a bit of quality to boot.

Wood to a lesser extent. We simply don't play a brand of football suited to the lads strengths. Wood needs out and out wingers crossing the ball from out wide to either head on target or to head a knock down to a strike partner. He's fine at the hold up play bit through the middle to run the clock down but we're never ever going to see the best of the lad here. He's certainly not good enough to lead our line for 90 as he lacks the pace and off the ball movement required.

End of the day we make him look ****, however play him under a Rafa or a Bruce or a Big Sam or even a Lampard and I reckon the lad could do a job.

Today feels like a kick in the balls, it was poor from start to finish but sometimes these days happen, it was played under poor conditions and a good few of our lads looked like they lacked a certain edge/desire today.

I've said it before but teams coming up here looking for a draw and ****housing their way through games playing ultra defensive football is our weakness, we're really struggling to break these teams down. See - Bournemouth, Palace, Forrest etc....

We've done it for years though so we can't really complain being on the end of it.

Seen Isak being called Injury prone a few times on here now and don't understand this at all, he's been unlucky to have got a bad injury and a setback on that same Injury in his time here but im pretty sure he played more than 40 games in each of his three seasons at Sociedad

Is Pope the only Keeper to be booked for wasting time this season?
I believe it has been 3 times

How come our players are punished for time wasting yet others like today get away with it

The officials read your pre match posts and take action as a result <laugh>

That ref overturning the blind linesman decision early on in the first half have me a brief pause to think he may have a good game. It simply never lasted.

The other card was in the cup. He’s on 4. It restarts after the Fulham game soo he needs to sniff a booking against Arsenal and Fulham
