It's time the civilised world acted against this Russian murderer.

The only reason Ukraine is putting up such a resistance is the civilised world is supplying them with millions of pounds worth of equipment pretty much daily.

They have supplied and trained them with Javelin missiles at the cost of about £200k a missile. I remember seeing a van pulling up and chucking about 30 of these out the back.

No one will get at Putin instead the civilised world will be killing young Russian men who have very little choice about being there. I don't see what the world.can do except World War 3.

Like I said I don't think we have done that, we have supplied them with far superior equipment to the Russians. I'm a little suprised we got that involved.

The next step is a huge step.

I am no expert in this subject. I believe we are the second biggest provider of military aid to Ukraine, over £2bn this year and to be matched next. We have acted in my opinion. Direct involvement has risks I imagine that are real and scary.

It's obvious we are not sitting back arms crossed seeing what happens. Annoys me when people suggest we have done **** all.

And still Ukrainian cities are being destroyed, ordinary folk are living without running water no electricity no heating and civilian deaths continue. Just how bad must it get.

If you mean us putting boots on the ground then Putin needs to attack a NATO country and then his big red button is firmly in play.

    Eh? You must be joking!

They have certainly splattered money about all over, Tory MPs and Labour MPs included.

But it should be said that Johnson was the first to back Ukraine properly. The Tory government also, alone in the world at the time, backed Ukraine after Crimea with arms, training and intelligence. This war would have been over in a fortnight without all that.

And let us never forget that Corbyn, to this day has never uttered a single public word of criticism of Russia, in this or any other matter in his life. Not even of Stalin when asked. There are many Labour MPs of the same mindset who can never bring themselves to criticise either Russia now, or the USSR back then. It's all that red flag rubbish.

And Starmer, for all his easy ride in the press is only very, very late to the argument against Russia. He fought night and day, Internet and press, TV and radio to get Corbyn elected PM, knowing full well where his real sympathies lay.

Plenty of ****e can be thrown at this government , but its conduct in this matter is not one of them.

I can't believe the combined expertise of Us Uk Germany military are not capable of stopping this without any red buttons being deployed.

Well said mate. No doubt we are in the minority on here but I don't think for a single second any labour government would or could do more.

We are stopping it by supplying the Ukraine army with the training and weapons they need while imposing sanctions on putin to reduce the cash he has got to buy more missiles.

UK soldiers being deployed in Ukraine isn't going to happen unless its a full on NATO backed engagement with Russia i.e. WW3

The present russian general in charge, is the one from Syria and his MO was to bomb cities till there was nobody left alive

Somehow missiles and drones must be destroyed either when they are in the air or on the ground. The factories making them and supply dumps have to be blown up.
