A lot of pride in our teams performance today, especially against a team of such quality - I have no doubt that MC will end up as Champions this season. Was today the day that the team started to gel and prove that we can survive in this division?
The difficulty will be replicating this type of performance against teams lower down the division; the team were obviously pumped up at playing the underdogs and it worked to a tremendous effect. Taking that mentality into other games may prove a challenge. Nevertheless, the performance was fantastic and we actually looked dangerous in attack.
It was decent, not great. Saying it was great is an insult to us. City were tired - they have been on the road and played midweek. We had a weeks rest and havent been outside London for weeks.
City have paid more for an individual player than our entire squad cost, they rotate players at will and could field a 2nd XI that would beat most Premier League sides. We gave them a hell of a fright when everyone expected a cricket score. It was a GREAT effort and we should be rightly proud of today's performance rather than petty jaundiced shyte that you spout 77...
Gutted we couldn't pick up a point in the end. Fans have been screaming for this team all week and NW delivered. I think this is our strongest lineup from now till Jan and I really hope we can put in the same performance week in week out.
Agree with the sentiments that it was a great game for us. as mentioned above, if we can replicate this performance against some of the lesser teams then we have a great future ahead. It's a shame we didn't get a point (or even 3!) but 3 points from the last 3 games isn't too bad..
here, here. the lads were outstanding today and everyone thought we'd lose by 3 or 4, whereas in reality a point would have been more than fair. onwards and upwards. you R's!!!
Could have happened - I know MC had a woodwork save but two goalposts - so close to a point! My wife nought me a QPR jacket two years back but it has never felt so warm in the falling Ontario temps as it does right now.

Midweek was our easiest CL game so far and we changed half the team to keep it fresh. The problem for city was QPR had the audacity to work hard and deny us space & time on the ball.Warnock should get an FA charge for these tactics.Hope your owners are planning on building for the future and will be improving your squad in the next window as I suspect your small squad will really struggle to last the pace without some fresh faces. Loftus rd packed to the rafters was a daunting experience,it showed how fans really can play a part,it's not often we're drowned out away Good luck for the rest of the season, hope Sean sparkles for you, legend
A wonderful post thank you I am pleased that we are making friends in this league We have our spirit back at Loftus Road and we play better up against it last night we met the strongest there is If we get Taarabt in again he now like the rest has something to prove and we will be fine
I could not be prouder of being a QPR fan today. I spoke to several sets of City supporters on the way home and nearly all agreed we were the better side. Make no mistake - this was not a City side with their foot off the gas but one that were not allowed to play for large periods of the game. Even with 10 minutes to go I thought we were still likely to get something out of the game such was our quality going forward. I do still wonder about Warnock's eccentric substitution tactics however...
Enjoyed this more than the Chelsea game,we were up against a top top side, were against Chelsea they are a team on the slide, Helguson Faurlin best players on the park, this just shows we do deserve to be here and were here to stay.
'77, if you can honestly tell me one better performance we've had against quality opposition in the last 16 years then we can do business. If not I think it is conclusive proof that you are just on the wind up my friend.
I heard on the radio this morning that Joe Hart is quoted as saying that is the first real game of football they have had this season. Gracious in victory and very nice compliment.
" Edin Dzeko believes QPR are the best team Manchester City have played away from home this season after dramatic 3-2 win Despite having already faced Manchester United on their travels, the in-form striker hails the performance of Neil Warnock's side as the Premier League leaders battle to victory"
