I saw a stat after Perraud's OG vs Brighton that we're leading the way in PL OGs this season. Maybe we got scared of Leicester getting too close to us last night, hence adding in another one today.
No real point trying to guess what Jones might do at HT (or into the second half). He's tried so many different things already, that there's no obvious pattern behind his decision making yet.
Played quite well, fought hard for the ball and had the better chances but we need to take one. Shame and unlucky to be behind.
Don't believe we really deserve to be losing, but we don't particularly look like scoring either. We have a midfield presence at least, but our options going forward appear to be: Lump it to Che and hope for a miracle Play it to Aribo / Edosie and hope they do everything on their own. Hope Jones knows what to do at half time, this isnt working.
Still well in this. Would like to see us come out and put pressure on straight away to try and get a goal to give us the momentum but suspect Jones will want to continue to try and keep it tight for at least 20 minutes.
It's cruel isn't it. We're in the ascendency and concede a **** goal. Bit of an improvement. I have horrible thoughts of what if we had Ings, that would of been a goal!
Edozie our best player first half, and at least the midfield made their presence felt for once. The whole thing bears out what we all already know though, unless we sign a goalscorer we are ****ed.
We've done ok in that first 45 and it's a bit annoying to concede a soft goal from a corner. Let's hope that the weak mentality doesn't rear its' ugly head again and we give it a good go after the break.
