Most Newcastle fans agree that no Carroll+35 million is better than Carroll+£0 million. Pretty much all our supporters think that Cabaye is better than Nolan, and also that our captain wasn't our "best player" as the deluded southern media claimed. I accepted that I was personally disappointed that Barton left, but a lot of our fans weren't. The ironic thing is, is that it is the Mackems who are clutching at straws.
