imo this game will suit Leicester as they'll park the bus and hoof it at vardy

we need to hammer into him every time the ball goes up there.

Leicester been dangerous away from home this season. Most goals scored and pace of Vardy is always a threat against the big teams who play a higher line. Given we’ve not looked solid at the back, important to take our chances.

    Can see both teams scoring

true. but it'd be lunacy to miss the January window when struggling due to knee jerk reactions.

He shouldn't be hyping Lewdski like that. He doesn't play for us.

A lot of companies get into trouble with that way of thinking.

"I've spent so much money promoting this product line and no one is buying... I can't abandon it now after spending so much money on it..."

Of course in the Rodgers scenario it's time not money... "We've been backing Rodgers for so long, it would be idiotic to sack him now".

They're not going to sack him... They've had plenty of opportunity but logically, if he's not right for the club he should be sacked... Regardless of whether they just missed a better opportunity to sack him.

As the cliche goes... Don't throw good money after bad... Don't keep backing something bad just because you've already squandered a lot on it.

all I am saying is the time to cut and run was 12th November. (or before) they would have 6 weeks to work on recruitment and a mid-season training camp.

to miss that window and then pull the trigger now is for me a pure panic reaction and not founded on good thinking.

what you've said makes sense if they do not give Rodgers any cash this window as a natural parting of ways next may could well be the ultimate aim.

General opinion on the prem board is that they can't afford to sack him.

I can understand that logic for Everton but don't buy it for Leicester .

Everton are bust but don't know it yet.

the stadium build is ploughing ahead on money that doesn't actually exist so I expect at something the contractor won't be paid and it'll grind to a halt.

there's rumours of stadium naming rights again being leaked out so either that's to secure more short term funds or we'll... we will see.

it doesn't look like any players will be bought and lampard is taking them to the edge of relegation again

Leicester owners don't want to invest, that's the major problem they have atm.

The one that wanted to invest and was running the ship was their father who died in the helicopter crash a few years ago.

Southgate should have gone and when they do sack Rodgers he should have got the England job imo. Still think he is a good manager, not great, but works well with young players and plays good football

Northern Irish and I believe he has referred to himself as British. He's closer to being home grown than Capello or Sven. <ok>

(I actually rate Capello pretty highly on the list of England managers during my lifetime)

Racist comment. Once this womaniser was in charge of England before.

    Sven-Göran Eriksson
