I’m back hopefully to start a new winning run! I think my first MDT was Farkes last game and I then did Smtihs first game so if we win this one I may have a chance of welcoming a new manager.

Alan Russell and Steve Weaver will be taking charge of the team on Friday night against Reading. Russell gave a strong showing in his press conference, offering a more direct style of play by having less focus on build up play. That would suggest to me that either Sargent or Idah should start up front, although he did also mention wanting to get players in behind more often. Cantwell and McCallum are back in training and could be fit to play a part in this game. Let’s hope we can turn this runnif results around.

Reading are level on points with us and sitting in 8th position. Reading come into this one in good form after beating Swansea 2-1 earlier in the week and 3 wins in their last 5.

The past is the past, it’s time to move forward with positivity for the rest of the season!

Wouldn't it be great if Russel and Weaver (and you, Suffolk!) turned us around. Maybe we wouldn't have to hire a new manager this season. :emoticon-0100-smile

Norwich City: 'It's about bringing belief and confidence back'

One of the men put in temporary charge of Norwich City said he wants to bring back some positivity at the club.
Allan Russell has been appointed caretaker head coach alongside Steve Weaver after the sacking of Dean Smith on Tuesday.
He said: "It's about bringing positivity, belief and confidence back into the players and also around the stadium."

Friday's home match for Norwich City against Reading at Carrow Road follows a run of just three wins in 13 Championship games.

Actually they didn't have "atrocious starts to the season". Their points totals simply didn't reflect their performances; it's no surprise at all to see them heading into the top six. That's where you'd expect them to be.

Ramsey originally injured his knee at a warm weather training camp in Tampa, and was set to see a specialist this week after feeling the problem again prior to Christmas.

Meanwhile, Cantwell is poised to return to training later today.

Sam McCallum and Danel Sinani were not part of the match night squad at Kenilworth Road. McCallum was ill and Sinani was left out for tactical reasons. Both are now available.

Jacob Sorensen (foot) is in the 'late stages of rehab'. Jon Rowe underwent ankle ligament surgery two weeks ago that could keep him out for up to three months.

That depends on which criteria you are using to define 'atrocious': expected goals or achieved points.

I like the noises Russell is making:

“In terms of this club, the fans are the most important thing. You've got a responsibility to entertain fans and that comes from hard work, that comes from pressing when you need to press, being aggressive, being on the front foot. Everything goes back to hard work."

Let's hope that the final days with Smith were rock-bottom and the only way is up, starting tonight.

I pray we don't get Bruce or Lampard. Having criticised Smith so bitterly and for such a long time, I really want to get behind whoever our new manager is and to feel positive again instead of being someone who's always griping and pointing out the faults and expecting the worst.

I hope there's a good stream. COYY!

You can watch it on Canaries TV and help the club (instead of helping line the pockets of Sky shareholders or media rights abusers).

Perhaps if they priced it reasonably and offered a season pass of half season pass for home games it may be worthwhile and more would sign up.

Unfortunately the club are also greedy and have little regard for people that can't attend games like you .

Yeah, if it was a fiver, I'd be more tempted. I don't have sky either, got to look after my own pennies, first.

I signed up for the 2 games in Scotland pre season £10 for Aberdeen and Celtic.

Buffered the entire time & logged me out about 20 times.

Unwatchable, sent an email to admin explaining it wasn't a good experience and they told me that it was my WiFi connection and they wouldn't refund me or give me the next game as compensation.

Great customer service, rather watch ot for free on Espn+

Yeah, I have heard other people complain about the quality, as well. Not good.
