It’s an absolutely abysmal appointment by an owner who was warned by many about the types of signing they were making. We got called bitter for it Our starting eleven last night was the youngest in all professional divisions in England this season last night. The team they finished with had just 2 players under 29. And it showed. I think it also shows that last season they built a side to guarantee promotion. We built a side that guaranteed nothing but could withstand progression. Long term building so important and validates our approach
Mental they still stick with power considering the fobbed him off to us last time there were in the championship
Max Power hasn’t missed a single minute of Wigan’s league campaign Wow. Is it any wonder they’re in the ****?!
Trai's was a fantastic, perfectly timed, tackle that probably deserved a better outcome . . . . a career ending injury for the thick, ignorant, Irish bastard would have been better
Tried counting the passes leading up to Roberts goal and got to 16 from the start of the clip, Wigans defence must have been dizzy by the time Roberts scored.
You're right....we don't love him,but it's his mentality....he got straight up and got on with it. He wouldn't be able to show us any weakness. Think I remember that attitude playing against Chopwell many, many years ago!!
I’ve heard his leg is broke in five places but he couldn’t let the Sunderland supporters see he was hurt
Our owners were brave enough to gamble on long term and I thought we were building a team suited to the championship rather than league one. Thankfully it has paid off.
Think we dodged a bullet. We were very close to signing him permanently based on 27 games in League One. He can't even get into the worst side in the division who are crying out for goals
Have to say I was really impressed with the way the young lads stepped up and grabbed their opportunity. Ba and Michut both had a solid game, I though Hume was excellent. Even Dajaku done well when he came on. Very exciting times.
