Well that is interesting young starting tram good subs win 4-1 away from home, we might just have a half decent team on our hands.
Surprised us all by starting Ba and Michut and they both played well. Neil led the midfield and had a brilliant game. Bailey Wright started for the first time in ages and didn't put a foot wrong Hume starts and had a brilliant game Just awesome
Special mention for TM as well, got his starting line up spot on and for the 2nd game in a row he made subs to win us the game
Our third goal was disgusting. Imagine if you're a Wigan defender watching that section of play, back. It's like you're playing a different game all together. Their heads must be absolutely spinning.
All the young lads did themselves proud. They all look to play the game on the front foot. Great entertainment and not one of them the finished article yet. Few mistakes along the way I suspect but The future looks bright
Maybe, just maybe we might be onto something here and when there is a dip we all remember these highs and encourage them to get there again?
mentioned this a game or two ago, when amad and roberts get working together there is some great football to watch, don't know when they were moved or decided to move over but that was an excellent move at that stage of the game. seen some posts about simms, the lad could have a brilliant future in the game but he needs to watch LND and get himself more mobile and learn how to control a ball... that said, i can't say he had a bad game. in fact i could not really fault any lads on the pitch tonight, they all dug in and played for the shirt and for the club. do we seem to be getting some 'better' refs now...i mean, there is always something they miss (just the way of the job) but they certainly seem to be noticing those fouls now, maybe just lucky at present but i hope it continues. another good performance from onien tonight, michuit slotted in very well i thought for his first start but neil gets my MotM.
