Great touch by the lads to have a Pele/Brazil tribute tonight.
    Edson would have been proud.

Team has played well tonight, Wigan had their moments but for a bunch of young kids they've played brilliantly. Can't pick out a MOTM tbf

Monster win. Players dug in big time with injuries.

09 or Neil MOTM for me. Neil might get it given the amount of change around him. Got mucked in.

TM out. My 0-7 would have went in if he hadnt of tinkered with the team <laugh>.

Superb win, excellent football once the changes were made and that is not meant to be harsh on the lads who were subbed. And brilliant for you magnificent fans who travelled in your thousands. I salute you all.

We have come on so far in the last 12 months, we finished 5th in L1 last season - Wigan won the league and we destroyed them tonight and are in the playoffs.

Dan Neil was class in that 2nd half, just kept breaking up playing and kept things simple. So pleased for Dajaku and Matete who I both thought played really well when they came on

Well, we went from looking rattled to world class in the space of 5 minutes there, never looked back once that penalty went in and played some absolutely excellent one touch stuff in the last 10 minutes. Wigan were put to the sword in style, we took the piss out of them.

Absolutely over the moon with that.

Young starting 11, played some cracking football first half, lost their way a bit, injuries all over the place, yet still had enough to win and should have been even more comfortable.

They whole squad played for the shirt and never gave in

    We have to keep Stewart.

Whole dynamic changes when he’s on park.

We are a proper side, more so when he’s in it.

Neil for me mate - thought Hume was good throughout as well. Roberts changed the game when he came on so he is in with a shout as well. O9 has just edged ahead of Baath for my player of the season so far

Outstanding performance by the back 4, but 09 - what a boy!

Couldn't agree more. There is a footballer in Dajaku, we just need to find it

Ridiculous result. We've got an ability to take a game away from teams so quickly at times. I think 99% of the lads are destined for better things, and it might just be with us yet!

A toss up between Neil and Hume for MOTM. Neil probably just steals it with his involvement in the third goal.

Even with all the injuries we currently have we still put a decent team out tonight and the bench were capable of changing it. Tremendous squad.

Some incredible football and the right result and scoreline to be fair. Feels so good watching us play like this, never seen it in my lifetime. Seen us play top football at times but not of this type. Cocky buggers <laugh>

I know it shouldn't, but whenever we stuff Wigan, it feels that little bit better because of a little c**t wearing number 11 plays for them and he'll HATE it.

You are playing better football now than you ever did in League 1. Is this because there is less pressure on the players? Last season there may have been anxiety as chances were missed and silly goals concedes. I feel you could well replace the last team to get back to back promotions in the PL.
