Simms needs to learn a hell of a lot. Has to protect that ball. He is big enough but his body shape, for a centre forward is miles off what it should be. How he has got to this point without that basic is beyond me. Coaches must be blind.
Patterson has been brilliant last few weeks so I can forgive him his error tonight. This lot are terrible at the back, Pritchard and Stewart could have a field day if they’re ready to play and Mowbray is willing to play them.
Disappointed with that last 10 minutes, but we're so much better than them on the ball and moving it around at pace that we'll cause enough problems to win the game if we just regain that composure and play our own game. I'm very impressed with Hume again.
Should be winning, hope they don’t come out half asleep and let Wigan believe they can win this, have to come out firing and make sure we have more quality in final third as we have been struggling at times
