I would certainly vote for a 433. If they do that Hume can push on and we make a 3 at the back. It would create a great outlet I think. Same other side with ONien.
Going for the good old Lee Johnson lop-sided back 3 Hume and Clarke will be the wide "defenders" but Hume more defensive than Clarke, IMO.
I know McLean is not that fast but not sure I want him up against Wright. The players on show cries out for 352 IMO.
Isnt it nice to have a real excitement about the game and working out our formations. Not to mention having really young players to watch. I am a bit of a lightweight though. Could have gone for hospitality tonight with some good Wigan lads. Woke up late, convinced myself I was getting a cold, so didnt go. Settled in with you lot and a rum instead. As always though the chat on here is top notch.
I reckon Hume on the right and Luke on the left. Other way round ok too IMHO, ONien will get right under his skin.
Thing is mate, when players can carry it off it is a hell of a formation. Really hard for an opposition midfield to counter it when you drop in and out of it. Takes some clever players but when it is done well you get massive overloads and it stretches teams all over the place.
Well I've had a ****e couple of hours. Had to leave the family get together early as Lilly couldn't cope with the noise. Get home to the Pele news. Now I hope these lads absolutely batter Wigan as I can't be doing with negative posts and "told you so" if we draw or lose.
Lads will cheer you up mate. It is what they do these days. Even if they dont, enjoy the young lads learning and our fans being the best there is.
