Bednarek is no where near as bad as made out on here. Everyone was delighted when he signed a new contract ffs! He's just not suited to playing a high line such as Ralph did. Don't think we will now though so I think he'd fit in pretty well and would arguably be more solid than Salisu.
bridge is well and truly burnt for me after his comments when he signed for villa. Plus I genuinely think he is worse than DCC, ABK and Salisu. Recalling him to sell would be nice though
He had literally no chemistry with Salisu when they played together but served us well before the latter signed, he could probably still do a job for us with a different CB partner.
Probably our best hope for now, especially if someone wants to make a point to their existing club. It's fingers crossed time though!!

Better than recalling Bednarek ... at least JS would want to be here giving his all for the shirt. Could do with more players like him right now. JB couldn't wait to **** on us and go to a "bigger club"
I get that a new manager who is not happy with the fact we can’t keep a clean sheet might want to look at the defenders out on loan…but…I don’t think you need to do a huge amount of research to see that ABK, Salisu and DCC are at least as good as Bedders, and I’d argue better. Maybe it’s because our current bunch can’t play a back 3 and that’s what NJ wants to play. But Bednarek has burnt his bridges here and having that hanging over the team when the fans are already frustrated isn’t going to help.
Jesus where is this coming from? We deem that stephens and bednarek aren’t good enough/are surplus to requirements. We have ABK, Sally Sue, Lyanco, Caleta Car and Simeu. Why do we need 7 CB’s?
This is exactly my position. If we are genuinely looking to bring back Bednarek. it does make you wonder whether SR actually know what they are doing. It would be deeply unpopular amongst the fans, regardless if his abilities. I cant see Jack Stephens coming back, to be honest. If anyone is going to return, I would guess that Tella is the most likely candidate albeit I can see him wanting to remain at Burnley and learn under Kompany as opposed to Jones. Seems to me that the whole Nathan Jones / SR situation is going to turn sour very quickly. The recent departures from the non-playing staff is suggestive that things are not all sweetness and light. My gut feeling is that Jones will be binned pretty quickly.
