By no means am I saying MON is 'the man', but the football under Bruce is hardly setting the world on fire in terms of style and yield of points.

I'm a Bruce fan, and I want to see him stay and do well here. But this, I completely agree with.

12 points preferred. 10 points expected. 8 points acceptable. Anything less, worrying.

    9 points. 3 home wins.
Bonus if we get out in the away game

This should then give us the confidence to move up that table AND stay there.
any less and imo brucie will be gone at xmas.

We are now 11 games into this season and a reasonable summation would be very poor indeed.

Bruces supporters said we should look at their mans record after 10 games. Well I've waited 11 instead and we are currently 1 point off relegation.

If we keep Bruce beyond Jan 1st I honestly and very genuinely feel we could be relegated this season. If Connor is out for some time, he will use it as his latest excuse for his failure to impress. Why would Connors absence be so crucial? Because its Bruce that has allowed our lack of credible strikers issue to drag on now for almost a full year without an answer.

I absolutely despair at the future of our club under this manager. I think we are in deep, deep trouble.

    Actually not true.

When this debate first took hold after 4 or 5 games, when the writing was on the wall for me very quickly that the continuation of utter dross since January would be just rolling on and on, I was told that we cannot seriously talk about the season until after 10 games. I think you should check with your fellow BiB's who said this at the time.

11 games and 1 point off relegation places. If that situation is not improved in the next 4 games to the tune of 10 points, with games against Spurs, Everton and City to come thereafter, then by the time January 1st comes we could already be buggered imo. Mind you, some of my fellow fans seem quite happy with it all which is equally as disturbing as the actual situation we are in. Is it just a case of total denial? Or is 1 point from the drop zone acceptable to you all after 11 games?

All the Bib's can hang onto the bits and pieces football Bruce is offering and take all the positives they want in games we are getting zero points in but for me the writing is still in bold capitals. RELEGATION FORM. That form, since February of this year, has been completely rotten and shows very little signs of recovery. We have had our customary injury now and already there is a crisis of strikers at the club. Since Judas was sold, we have not adequately replaced his goals and I can tell you all now that because of your mans incompetence, we will be forced to play Bendtner and Sess as our forward line for the whole time Connor is out.

If anyone thinks that we will climb the table with that strike force then god help us. Its not just bad luck, its poor management for yet again putting the club in a position where it is hanging by a thread for its survival due to poor planning and recruiting in the summer.

I only hope that by the time the rest of you realise the predicament we are in and more importantly Short does, that an adequate replacement is still available, to put together what inevitably will have to be a last ditch rescue mission.

I don't think we will be in a releagation battle the team are starting to gel the team look solid at the back specially with westwood between the sticks
i think we have enuff up front with bendy ji sess even richardson can do a good job as a leading stricker. bruce and short know we need to strickers in january. we will be top 8 belive me cest l nar me dar can do it

    Lol.

I wish I had your faith mate I really do but I havent and as for Bruce I'm finished with him now. Cant even drag myself to listen to the excuse laden ****e he spouts anymore.

I'm not sure where your faith in Ji being 'enough' up front comes from (maybe just blind hope) when he hasn't exactly got any pedigree at the EPL level to suggest that? Bendtner I really like but Sess cant play that role up front and if Ricco is used there, then what a total farce making him our bloody left back would look? From left back to centre forward? We would be a laughing stock.

Bruce has had more than enough time now and has failed miserably. If you cant see the ensuing relegation battle then I certainly can. My fear is that Short, unused to this situation, will dilly and dally for the next few months until Bruce has well and truly ****ed us over and there isn't a credible alternative left to appoint.

I can only see bottom 4 or 5 for us this season at the very best and if anyone out there is willing to suggest that would be fine, I'll be willing to argue the point whenever they are ready.
