Wishing us all health, happiness and promotion in the year ahead!! You can post your wishes etc here too
I hope you all enjoyed the Solstice, whichever one it is, and may Christmas and the New Year bring you all the things that you need, first, and want, second. Promotion is in the need list.
For reasons that were completely unforeseen, I chose to have a Christmas as miserable as has been the case for so many people. We got everything ready in time to collect son from Crewe- train on time. From there in, yuk. I spent last 4 days in bed with the worst cold I have ever experienced! I’m exhausted just with the coughing. And it’s not over. I blame Brexit. WFC didn’t help either-but at least I didn’t go. Hope all well with everyone.
Well that was a Pi$$er, you sure it wasn't covid? At least you didn't have to call an ambulance. Hope you feel better soon.
My wife had something similar just before Xmas ...two weeks it took to shake it off.... tested negative too. Hope you feel good again soon JT
It so nearly saw off my Mum, this cold/flu. JTB, check with pharmacist in case it clashes with any other meds you may take - it didn’t with my Mum or Dad and they rattle with meds, their pharmacist describing it as a mild medication, but Cetirizine is a good anti-histamine which can break the cyclical nature of the hacking cough that goes with this cold. Helped me and Matej. Get well soon.
Thanks for all the good wishes. Am on the mend now , but it was a bad one. Tested twice for Covid, -ve , so dodged that bullet. I suppose advancing years makes these things worse. The news about JP ( 6 -8 weeks out injured) following a tackle in which the opposing player was booked and Kamara being sent off = 4 weeks out for a provoked retaliatory push, makes me wonder about the definition of violent conduct. Isn't there something inconsistent here ?
There certainly is - especially after the Millwall defender went down as though he had been thumped in a night club brawl but magically recovered, whilst his teammate who crocked JP complained that he had done nothing wrong and shouldn't have been booked.
Just shows what Millwall are all about as a club and sportsmanship Effective but ugly and make Luton look like Man City footballing wise But it shows where we are now when a Championship team celebrate after beating us like they have beaten Man City or Liverpool and when we beat them cry a river about how big a club we are with all our money and facilities
