From the club ...important info. ( also posted on match day thread) Ahead of tomorrow’s game we are keen to make supporters aware of some road closures which will be in place. The details are online here (and will be pushed out on our social channels shortly): https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-v-luton-town-important-supporter-information-281222/ If you could circulate on your platforms too it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help. Regards, Paul Morrissey Head of Media & Communications
Add to that the sales traffic from Westfield which this afternoon caused the closure of the West Cross route due to congestion. Good luck to anyone travelling by road...
I'm travelling by road...as there are no trains back to the west after 8.30. But I have a plan A cunning plan
Snap. But I don’t have a plan. Have to drop daughter off somewhere she can get the tube back to Balham, Westfield was first pick…..let’s hope everyone is shopped out. Shame the West Cross route was never built properly, left at that bizarre stump from the Westway to Bush Green.
Leave very early is my advice. I've been caught up in the Westfield sales traffic before and barely made the game, as we'd also had an earlier hold up on the motorway. Although, as Stan says, by mid to late afternoon it may have calmed down. I was planning to attend this, but not too well, so it'll have to be the cursed Sky coverage. Let's hope we smash these bastards.
Look after yourself Col. Hope you got a proper diagnosis after your hospital visit. Will probably leave early and get something to eat pre match if there is time. Very odd kick off time. Departure time being dictated by two twenty somethings who were out late yesterday moving at glacial speed through a chaotic house which is being slowly packed up pre house move in less than a fortnight. I could do with some entertainment this evening.
Just to Stratford on Avon. Over the river from the RSC, next to the cricket club, which I will be joining (non playing). Just got to the pub, traffic not too bad in the end. Pub relatively quiet for a match day.
