Sorry We'd been looking for a striker for over a year and he's the best that was available to us. Personally I'd be delighted if we kept him, he's a got good movement and the pace to keep up with our wingers.
I've always found with Adebayor that he starts off at a club as an amazing players and plays brilliantly in his first few games. Did it with Arsenal (for the beginning of his career there), did it at Citeh, did it at Madrid and looks like he's doing it at Spurs.
Tim Cahill. He plays for a small club which does not have the history or prestige that we have either
Got to be Darren Bent for me. Has a reputation for being a natural goalscorer but in reality just saps all the goals out the rest of the team, and contributes nothing to general play. Watching him play for Spurs was torture.
Gareth Bale, Im stunned that a player is has been so successful when all you have to do is show him inside, just dont let him get outside you, put him onto his right foot problem solved
There are loads like him. Di Maria, Valencia, Young... Di Maria being the worst of the bunch. He literally never touches the ball with his right foot. If I was a defender at this level, I'd show them on to their weak foot at all times. It's basic stuff.
anderson, all my united mates seem to think hes a class defensive mid now but cannot explain why lucas is always picked for brazil over him petr cech has gone way downhill recently, used to be unquestionably class but i think chelsea can do better now
When he and other duds that sometimes find themselves playing for Utd they are immediately elevated to a 'world class' status or are 'wonderkids' irrelevant of their true abilty and Carricks arrival at OT was no different. It took a while for the OT faithful to admit/see he is crap.
