And which coach in world football will teach Forshaw to outplay de Bruyne, Cooper and Koch to contain Haaland, give Struijk an extra 2 yards of pace, turn Aaronson in to prime Zidane, turn Roca in to Kante etc etc.

But the pass never reached Koch so surely that means it was under hit or never on. Koch standing like a statue after it was intercepted is another matter ;)

Under 10 stuff. Never wait for the ball to come to you.

Back 4 are ****...and it looks like we are stuck with them with the new contracts. Disgusting from the club.

I’d still rather have him than Jesse

That’s not because I think Dyche is good, just better organised when it comes to a relegation fight.

And Jesse is **** like Firpo ;)

Well I didn’t expect anything so in that respect I got what I expected but we were so far outclassed it brought tears to my eyes
We just don’t seem to anticipate the opposition’s play City were not playing full tilt they didn’t have to

On reflection and TBH I would have taken a 3-1 defeat before the game. You have to put it into context - City have spent millions to get those players and we don't have that sort of money. A lot of effort by our players but too often a lack of quality just shows them up. We are lucky that nobody else in the bottom half made any real inroads these last few days. Just maybe we can nick a point from Newcastle. That would do for me but we really need a win pretty damn soon.

Well we seem to be improving, last 3 games against city, lost by 7,4 and today 2.
Gnoto is some player, and meslier was our saviour tonight.
City had 16 players at the WC, just shows their quality, Haaland's team didn't qualify.
I think we showed a lot of fight tonight and our heads didn't drop.
Improvements must be made in January.

We didn’t press, we sat off them right up to the 65th minute and then we went at them. Their defence is not great and we proved that tonight when you get at them. Sitting back only helped them but when we went at it toe to toe we got on top, we scored we created. But hey that’s just me, why did he wait so long. Gnonto is a top find

Bit better second half, but I guess they maybe took their foot off the gas. Every single one of their players a yard faster and better technique on the ball. Chastening to watch but effort can only get you so far. We really missed Adams but would only have been to help stem the tide.

De Bruyne who was ****e in the World Cup was unplayable tonight.

Guardiola has just said that City were phenomenal in the first half but found the 2nd half more difficult. If City play well, good luck pressing them. In the first half they just played through us when we did press. I thought we were compact first half and well organised.

City are just a special side. We are not.

Nothing to see tonight imo. We were gonna struggle. We did. Not a massive shock we got beat although seems a few thought we should be matching City. Doesn't work like that. Blaming Marsch is a cheap shot to be honest.

I think he was trying to set us up to be hard to beat and hope to hit them on the break. Everyone criticises our defending when we get caught in transition, this time he sets us up to be tight by not committing guys to the press against the best side in with football at beating the press.

It didn’t work. Hindsight us a wonderful thing but If we went for it earlier it might not have worked… that first goal came in a rare occasion when we committed guys forward.

Alan Shearer - Leeds with the fans behind them and the atmosphere inside the ground tonight, they’ll be disappointed that they waited so long before trying to get at them. Yes it’s Man City but they did beat Liverpool and Chelsea

Jesse interview - Just talks too much, I switched off. When asked about relegation he says we have enough quality not to get drawn in if we show the same battle and mentality that we did today
