spot on how many short passing moves , one twos do we play around the box ? Very few . B’pool did it on the left many times our players don’t move at all. Crosses to one forward isn’t enough .

Sorry guys Allyhar is a very busy player but his control and ability is short of what everyone seems to think - he rushes too much - I don’t believe he will ever score the goals we need - he works his socks off tho !

I'm not saying Woods is the answer, but to prefer a League 2 player to a Championship player is a bit wierd and why would you want to replace a centre midfielder with a centre half (traditional #6)?

Probably why Bowen, Grosicki and KLP were so useless…

I agree re Allahyar. I don’t see what people see in him. He’s a phenomenal athlete but a bit of a Craig ***an on steroids.

At this present time, I'd welcome his pace, energy, aggression. Attributes we are currently missing badly. At 21, he appears also to have great potential, and will likely improve as each month goes by. Not right though to put too much expectation on his shoulders.
Craig ***an would have walked into this side and be a stand out. That's where we're at for now.

It only took 20 minutes for Sayyadmanesh to go from saviour of our season to useless but hard working dervish. That’s surely some sort of record.

He’s just back from injury, wtf can be expected from him?

Absolutely, that was not intended to be derogatory, just a way off describing the type of player he looks like to me.

    20 minutes?

He’s made 18 appearances for us.

    And who called him useless?

It’s fair to say we are not where we hoped to be pre season. Mixture of bad luck injurywise , poor recruiting around the defence, wrong manager in the first place, hopefully right manager second time around. However giving all we can not keep dropping points against the weaker teams in the division. If we can finish 6th from bottom I’d take it now.

The last 2 games have been very deflating. Coat it in sugar any way you want you optimists who think we are a gnats cock hair away from being contenders but scraping a couple of home draws by coming from behind against 10 men and looking as ineffective as we have done does not bode well.

We await a couple of signings that we've never seen and I suspect we never will. A couple of maybe irons in the fire which may or may not come to fruition. I think our young, inexperienced manager has his work cut out.

It’s a bit like the Emperors new clothes. We can see the problems but as loyal fans don’t really want to say it out loud.

I agree they’ve been deflating but it’s probably harder to come back against 10 men than it is 11 as they just sit everyone behind the ball. The amount of space between their defence and midfield we exploited before they went down to 10 was crazy. I actually would’ve preferred Oscar to go through and score instead of him getting sent off as I think we’d have then gone on and won 2/3-1

I said the exact same thing as it happened. Oscar scores there and stays 11v11 and I think it's an easier game to win

Yesterday was incredibly frustrating. We started well and for 20 minutes there was only 1 team in it. We then gift them a goal (There is a time to play the ball short and a time to play it long - both Ingram and Baxter are still learning which is which). We are then pretty much deflated until half-time. The Blackpool player is rightly sent off, but we struggle to make the extra man count - at times it was hard to see Blackpool were down to 10 as they kept 2 up front and looked dangerous on the break. Oscar gets the equaliser but for the last 15 minutes we might have lost it as easily as we might have won it. We didn't have the guile to break them down, nor did we know how to get around their dominant centre-half who won every corner we crossed into their penalty area.

Too many players below par yesterday. Ingram (apart from the goal) too often dithers instead of finding the run of either Christie or Longman when the aforementioned have run into space. Jones - looked nervous after they scored and like others missed the chance to pass to Oscar, Tufan, Longman or Sinik when they had made forward runs. I'm not a Slater hater, but he went missing yesterday. Jury is still out on Sinik. Shouldn't expect too much from Allahyar for a few games until he gets match-fit. Coyle did a couple of really good things, but at the same time a couple of really careless things as well. Don't remember Smith touching the ball when he came on.

Let's hope we can keep our decent away run going over the next week or so

Maybe we should start fielding 10 players every game until we can keep a clean sheet.
