But if he does relax a little in front of goal and starts putting some of his chances away he could be a snip at 60m

Honestly, I think the WC fcked him up. He weren't great before but he was beginning to find some form. He cut a dejected figure on the bench for Uruguay.
I think he genuinely expected to have a bigger role (especially when you consider his main competition were two oap's well past their best). And then when he got his chance he fluffed it, he was dropped again and that knocked him further.
