the nhs is underfunded they crow, well yeah it is but in the management section of it the money is overflowing.......nhs midlands partnership recently advertised a post for a "director for lived experience" at circa well let's say ahem "decent".. now apparently paramedics, nurses job vacancies are aplenty and they can't recruit enough with plenty leaving the "service"....and yet they can afford to recruit some person on a vast salary for an absolutely made up position along with the inclusivity and diversity roles that are rampant among plenty of nhs trusts oh and don't forget the new remit that interview panels must explain to the chief exec why they have dared to hire a white person over a candidate from an ethnic minority for a position.......never mind your delayed treatment or even appointments just make sure the bullshit jobs and selection are sorted first

If Georgia is a "banana republic", it's because of Republican governor Brian Kemp's shameless attempts at voter suppression: https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/georgias-voter-suppression-law Btw: just how important do you think this is: "On November 18, 2022, Screven County Commissioners Allison Willis and Mike Dixon, candidate for county commissioner in District 1 Tyler Thompson, Vicki T. Reddick, and Michael Lloyd Waters, filed a lawsuit against Elections Superintendent Debbie Brown, Elections Supervisor Hannah Derriso, and Commissioner Edwin Lovett. The five contended that the wrong ballots had been issued to at least two dozen voters in District 1, and that the incorrect ballots may have had an impact on the county commission race in that district that had a margin of just seven votes." https://www.thegeorgiavirtue.com/lo...screven-county-after-systemic-irregularities/ It was an election for county commissioners. Scraping the bottom of the barrel there...
According to the beeb a Cardiff grandmother charges her family to attend her house for Christmas dinner since her husband passed away, she supposedly charges £15 per adult and even the grandkids stump up £2.50. I know things have risen recently but the picture of her house doesn't suggest she is on the breadline, and if she is crying poverty why haven't her siblings invited mum to theirs......bit of invention going on here methinks, if not next year mum should go to Iceland ........"what you want dessert, that's another fiver".....
