Two superb passes for that Liverpool goal. Has there been a rule change? Mings gets extensive treatment for an injury then stayed on the pitch instead of going off and coming back on?
I don't think Moyes is under the same sort of pressure that Lampard is, but this will be four defeats in a row for a side who spent more than £100m in the summer (something like £130m I think?). I'm guessing the owners would have expected to be more than two points above bottom place. They have four very winnable matches up next. Moyes probably does need to win at least one of them. (Not for one moment do I think West Ham are getting relegated btw. It's just that Moyes could do with a win soon.)
City should beat Leeds at Elland Road on Wednesday but it's certainly become a banana skin match for them. They can't afford to fall further back of Arsenal.
It's quite possibly contributed to that goal tbh. Lacking natural height/aerial threat in their team, it was always likely that Utd would do something different from set pieces.
The way that Eriksen is running this game is gorgeous. A million miles away from our central midfield right now.
