I thought we'd do well to scrape a 1 goal lead win, we dominated Leicester without Wilson or ASM. Absolutely superb. I am literally starting to believe we'll finish top 4.... seriously. We can actually do this ****. Not much more to say other than another slaughter. Ratings - Pope - 8 - Some good saves and fantastic handling and composure. Trippier - 8 - Another assist, beautiful balls into the box. Schar - 8 Botman - 8 Burn - 8 Longstaff - 8 Willock - 8 Bruno - 8.5 - Great assist and great play all round Joelinton - 9 - Fantastic performance, goal and assist Almiron - 9 - MOTM. Even though Joelinton got an extra attacking return, almirons defending and all round play was fantastic. Wood - 8 - Held the line well, good pen.
Second half we managed the game really well. We didn’t need to push. Miggy is on another planet right now. Teams don’t know how to play him.

It was fabulous that we were 2-0 up in the first few minutes. Thankfully and against the run of play it was 3-0 at half time. How can you manage the second half after that? Against a form team? Yeah, we took our foot off the gas and went into defend first and pass /attack second. Everybody did what they needed to do without looking disorganised. That's proper team structure. If we'd had a Messi or Modric we might have sent in a few killer passes to win by a bigger margin. But I'm sure the players were totally happy with 3-0, especially since we were without Wilson and Isak. I would have taken a nervy 1-0 today, and I'm feeling slightly guilty that I wasn't planning for the easy win that the boys achieved. We were playing at a higher level than Leicester - with their best player was Vardy. It's especially warming that the World Cup break doesn't seem to have busted our form. Fantastic for confidence. Leicester might part ways with Rogers after this - but I hope they smash Liverpool now
