PENALTY APPEAL Cardiff 0-0 QPR Chris Willock against Mahlon Romeo is shaping up to be a good battle. Former Arsenal man Willock earns a corner off the Cardiff right-back. Kenneth Paal's corner is too high but Jimmy Dunne is apoplectic as he feels he was fouled by Romeo. Referee Keith Stroud is unimpressed.
Tim Iroegbunam is a lovely lovely player he carries the ball forward so well. He has to be careful doing the tackling bit though as he's on a yellow.
Not a great game. We look good in possession, but we're lacking creativity. Adomah and Laird have been poor down the right. Dykes has possibly touched the ball twice. Tim, apart from one instance of not tracking back, has again looked far and away the best player on the pitch. Need Chair on 2nd half.
42 mins Post update Cardiff 0-0 QPR Ryan Wintle's excellent curling cross finds Callum Robinson completely unmarked, in the middle of goal, but City's leading scorer is unable to add to his four goals as he gets his timing all wrong and fails to make a proper connection. He did manage to successfully get his head into his hands seconds later, however.
Totally lacking any quality anywhere on the pitch. We have to be one of the least dangerous teams going forwards in the league.
Important experiment about to take place. Will half time port and cheese improve the viewing experience? Or at least distract from the tedium? Ithink we are better than this lot but we seem to have nothing in front of goal.
