Season part 2. Need to get this right and quickly if we are to get a CL spot. Nunez needs to relax, don't think just shoot there's a **** load of goals there.
We can but hope we can grow into this second half of the season. Konate won't even be back until after this one. Any sort of result will do. We need to focus 1000% on the ladies now and forget the fa cup as well
Nunez reminds me of mane first few years. 1v1 or when he had time, he was very inconsistent in goal. Was much better when had little time and just had to go withh instinct. Similar to sterling as well. Mane developed as he got older and was coached by this management, hopefully Nunez will do similar.
Even Suarez was a bit slow at first - I seem to remember he needed a lot of chances per goal. I'm pretty sure Nunez will come good - the guy is bloody quick and he gets himself into a lot of good positions. I agree that he seems to be trying a bit too hard atm.
Even Salahs first season when he broke numerous goal scoring records, he missed a hell of a lot of chances.
Even now I think his shot conversion rate isn't all that great. It must have been better in his stand-out seasons but atm it's not brilliant.
I doubt cisse ever heard off the offside line. I doubt he was ever actually onside. The issue for me is nunez started alright and is getting further offside as the season goes.
Lets not forget he is scoring 1 in 2 atm......................I think he will improve on that very soon.
He looks like kind of player that will go 4 games without scoring then score 5 in 2 rather than some who look like score 1 every game
