Going to be very tight... I expect further setbacks for Arsenal this season but I think our challengers for 4th spot with be Spurs and not Liverpool. They don't have enough quality up front (a problem I have to admit as far as Arsenal are concerned as well). Tbf if Newcastle finish in 4th or higher I wouldn't begrudge them... still early days though.
I can't realistically see us beating them, but watching MOTD last night, I thought Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool were all very average defensively. Blackburn, Sunderland, QPR and Swansea had more than enough chances to get better results. I just hope they all play like that against us!
I have many more years delusion than most/all of you, therefore I believe we will finish 4th or 5th this season. I actually think we are a much better side than perhaps we are giving credit to let alone the so called experts.
I just can't stop worrying about injuries and suspensions. If Colo, Taylor and Krul (unlikely all at the same time) are out for whatever reason, I don't know what a defence of Simpson-Williamson-Perch-Taylor would be like in front of Rob Elliot. I'm not sure I even want to think about that to be honest . I'm a natural pessimist though!
Don't rule out Tottenham for 3rd Hatem. Top 7 will look like this for me. 1. Man City 2. Man Utd 3. Chelsea 4. Tottenham 5. Arsenal 6. Liverpool 7. Newcastle
This! Then Spurs and Scousers fight it out for 5th and 6th. Then us Villa, Everton, Stoke will be in it for 7th,8th,9th,10th. Sunderland and Fulham in the mix there too possibly.
The way I see it is City United GAP Chelsea Spurs Arsenal BIG GAP Liverpool SMALL GAP Us GAP Everyone else. Those teams in the groups can interchange. A new hair dryer at Old Trafford can work wonders . Also, if we slipped down to 9th I would still be very happy with out season
Man city Man united Chelsea Spurs Arsenal Liverpool Newcastle You heard it here first. I would have said Liverpool 5th, but arsenal are looking very threatening now, and I expect them to strengthen well in January. It also depends how long RVP stays fit.
Honestly at this stage I can see Chelsea finishing 4th and Newcastle fighting with Liverpool for 6th. Van Persie 3rd and Spurs 5th.
1. City 2. Utd 3. Chelsea 4. Spurs 5. Arsenal 6. Liverpool/Newcastle Although we are playing well and creating **** load of chances that alone doesn't get you top 4. Unless we start converting then it could be anywhere between 4 and 6.
I've just checked your profile, you are trying to become an arsenal wum aren't you? You are so bad at it haha, you will neve wind anyon up.
I wouldnt like to guess at this stage, but third place is far from certain. I think 3rd, 4th and 5th will be Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea (in no particular order).
I cant take you seriously if you think stoke or liverpool are contenders for top 4. Arsenal had a truly disgraceful start to the season and their already level on points with liverpool
