She's a... Chantilly lace an' a pretty face And a ponytail hangin' down A wiggle in her walk and a giggle in her talk. Or maybe The Big Bopper had someone else in mind?
Harsh. She puts the hours in, does Anne. And in a certain light... And with a copious amount of grog supped... And a desperation caused by an alarming recent diagnosis of a rapid acting terminal illness... I'd be tempted.

Be lucky 12.18 Wincanton – Kissesforkatie – generally 5/1 Bet365 Paying Top 3 Places for each way bets. Looks an improved mare now sent chasing, making an extremely encouraging debut over fences when runner up to the very classy Pic D’orhy. She then won in really good style on Fontwell where she jumped really well and quickened clear in good style. She is a strong powerful type and can give weight away to inferior rivals. 1.42 Fontwell – Teddy Blue – 13/8 Bet365, Skybet, Paddy Power, generally 6/4 He's a fair hurdler and is improving all the time as he learns to settle with racing. Very effective on soft ground, this is a significantly easier task than he faced last time when a very good 3rd to First Street and Grivetana in the Gerry Fielden at Newbury. He faded late on having raced with the Grivetana setting a very strong pace. It’s unlikely he'll bump into two horses as well handicapped as those two here. 3.05 Kempton – Solo (e/w) – 7/1 Bet365, generally 13/2 A winner on his reappearance at Sandown, he’s 6lbs higher here but won in good style and is at his best when running on soft ground so conditions should really suit. He jumps his fences superbly well which is a huge plus around here and worth a good few lengths itself. Runner up last time he bumped into an extremely progressive chaser in Thunder Rock who could well be a grade chaser in the making. This is a good handicap chase, but with Solo being so good over his fences, he’s hard to ignore. 3.20 Wetherby – Brentford Hope – generally 9/4 Could potentially be absolutely thrown in off a mark of 113 compared to his flat rating of 104, as you’d usually see around a 40lb difference in ratings. That can't always be taken literally, but after just two runs over hurdles, Brentford Hope is also completely unexposed over hurdles. He’s travelled well and jumped really nicely on both his outings, but not found as much as would have been expected. That would likely be due to a lack of fitness as he found plenty on the flat. He’ll relish conditions and can’t be missed on his handicap debut. 3.40 Kempton – Grey Dawning – generally 15/8 Comes into this handicap as a progressive unexposed hurdler with a good deal more to come and off a handicap mark that looks lenient. A winner of his two NH Flat races last year, he ran well when 2nd on his hurdles debut in a race that has turned out to be a pretty hot one. A good winner last time where he and the runner up who has won easily since pulled well clear of the field. A mark of 123 looks like a very winnable mark. 4.45 Wolverhampton – Super Stars (e/w) – generally 16/1 & Top 4 Places. Had proven to be disappointing for Mark Johnston on the flat last year, having started his 3yo career at Newmarket 77. He switched yards at the end of the flat season and was sent hurdles by new connections where he ran two really nice races. Firstly at Newcastle where he got tired having travelled nicely and last time at Musselburgh where he took a good step forward to be 2nd ahead of two much shorter priced rivals. He could be nicely treated returning to the flat off a mark of 65 with a further 3lbs claimed by his jockey and has a nice draw in stall 3. 12,40 Huntingdon, Butch, nice horse, better than last time, improvement to come, fancied. – 3/1 most bookies. 1,05 Market Rasen, Accidental Agent, strong form last run, well weighted & well fancied. – 2/1 most bookies. 1,35 Wetherby, Chantry House, classy type, drop in class, better than these, strong chance. – 8/1 most bookies. 1,35 Wetherby, Sporting John, relishes really soft ground, any more rain a plus, nicely weighted, big chance. – 10/1 most bookies. 2,40 Limerick, Gerri Colombe, our ante post bet for Cheltenham, classy type, impressed last time, the one to beat. – 8/13 moat bookies. 2,45 Wetherby, Karl Philippe, improved jumping last time, fancied & can win again. – 5/2 most bookies
