Happy Xmas and let’s hope for a happy ending to this season, and hoping all of us will be here this time next year.

Right now I am not feeling any more confident than I did at this time last year. Still peed off with the number of injuries especially to the guy who was supposed to be our new star man and talisman Louis Sinisterra. Still peed off with Bamford and deffo still peed of with Firpo who Marsch said is our starting LB but hasn’t all season so far. Cannot believe the number of injuries this season, to say they had pre season a few games and then 3 weeks off then a few games and another 4 weeks off………… beyond belief

    So reasons to be cheerful:

Gnonto is an exiting addition and can play anywhere in the front line
    Summerville has broken through
Greenwood looks like he will add bite and guile to the middle
Gyabi isn’t far away from establishing himself
Joseph and Perkins not far away.
Robles looks like the man to keep Meslier honest
Raphinha and Phillips deals fall flat with Barcelona and City, but thanks for the cash ahaha

So Jesse Marsch now needs to sort out his defence and if we do get a new LB he will have Hjelde, Struijk, Cooper, Koch and Llorente to choose from at CB. This summer the club really do need to sort out our CB issue as Cresswell will be back too. Are we getting rid of Cooper and Llorente or Koch. Could Hjelde and Cresswell both go out on loan?

All gone quiet on the Meslier front and the Croatian keeper, so looking like the usual clickbait crap.

Finishing on the transfer debate my view is that anyone we bring in will fall into one of two categories. Firstly he will be an unknown under the radar player with lots of upside in future value, or he will be of better quality and higher price, but has been sold the “Project” and believes the club will get into Europe at some stage soon. I had to laugh when I heard Marsch say yesterday, when asked about transfers he said “ we have been active in this window already?….but we will see what happens”. He also mentioned some deals can be done before the window opens….. guess he means how Chelsea have signed 3 players already and Wolves have signed Cunha. Can we take it that we are trying to do that and when did we pull out of chasing Cunha was it when Wolves offered €50m….

    2023 Predictions
    1. Leeds U21s will win the league and be promoted.
    2. We will sign a LB and striker in January or else we’re struggling
    3. Klich will leave
    4. Jacko will take the MK Dons job
    5. Robby Savage made to eat his words after tipping Leeds for relegation
    6. Drameh will sign a new contract and be loaned out until the summer and take over from Ayling

Speaking on Thursday, Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch said: "Jacko has been an absolute asset for me from the first day that I set foot into the building.

"He has done everything and more that I could have hoped, his passion, his commitment and his love of this club made him essential for me and for us in our quest to stay in the [Premier] league [last season]. I fully believe that without him we wouldn't have stayed in the league.

"I value him completely as a person and as a football mind."

The Dons are in the bottom four and have lost 13 of 21 League One games.

Jackson is likely to need reinforcements in the January transfer window, and his knowledge of the top academy players in the country - having worked with Leeds Under-23s for two years - could prove to be very handy.

Resigning Llorente is a mistake. He was really good first season but my god has he struggled since.

I'm struggling to get to grips with this one.

    Who is next? Firpo?
