No. Why the fck should we pick up the tab of thieving elite scumbag rats who again have robbed us blind. Sieze all the assets of the mps and doners who stole billions via the vip lane and track and trace scams under poc. That should help pay the nurses
I feel sorry for the young 'uns. My son pays £725 a month rent for a house in North Shields. If I was in my 20s I'd be gone and I wouldn't come back. Yeah I know, where is better? Plenty of places I think. This country sucks.
Tbh I'm out this thread we've got red and blue it just causes **** when it's political. We end up sounding like makems on a football site talking about human rights
Well said. I actually believe 95% of this is right. The issue is the public sector is of the opinion that they are hard done by. I got a 2.2% pay rise this year and like you I am happy to just have a job right now. There is only so much money to go around. The issue is some folks think that the people at the top of the tree are paid to much.
It’s all relevant. The front line tax breaks is a good idea in my opinion. But yes I guess how do you police it. The cost of living increase has been mainly duped by the price of fuel. Russia to be exact. But then the fuel industry is seeing the highest profit levels they have seen. Hmmmmmm
Red and blue are both a bag of ****e mate. We need a party in the middle.. once which doesn't let the wokes and tree hugging vegans rule the roost.
I'd vote Green Party but unfortunately I need to vote Labour to hopefully and finally oust the tory government. They're a bunch of ****s and even the tory voters are beginning to realise and get fed up with these clowns .
On fuel, surely the government could legislate that the retail price can't fluctuate from x% of the prevailing commodity price at that time? They used to do this with RPM (Resale Price Maintenance) on medicines and it worked fine for years. It will shrink margins and ensure that when prices rise at wholesale and then fall... retail moves with it whereas now... it immediately goes and and takes weeks to drop. I fill up on my way to and from work at West Auckland... it's 142.9p a litre for unleaded. The cheapest in Consett due to Supermarket price fixing is Tesco and Morrisons who are out at 152.9p. The mults are just riding a slower downward price curve whilst making out to the consumer they are their champion.
Can't vote for either mate. Labour turn a blind eye to grooming gangs (allegedly) and got done by the ECHR for being racist and want an open door policy on illegal immigration... something which will directly impact most of this board. They also have a load of fan boys of Corbyn on board still and he's more of a dinosaur than the unions. Tories are rich, entitled toffs who serve only themselves and the upper class and couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery and need a big slap down electorally.
