It did cross my mind whilst I was back home to bring some seeds out with me, not specifically Sprouts. I seem to remember my mother saying Sprouts need a frost to be at their best and have the right taste, not sure if this is a myth to true, but we certainly don't have a frost where I am.
Sprouts are really slow growing. Plant them now and they should be ready for next Christmas. It's not a myth btw, waiting until after a frost before harvesting makes them taste extra sprouty.
It'll be my first Christmas without mom I've requested to work, it'll be weird enough being alone/not having her around. It was her favourite holiday, she'd even dress the cat. Poor fella accepted everything tho, pretty sure his street cred took a beating tho It's been 4,5 months now, but it's been roughter the last couple of weeks, thought I was past the worst. Can still reach for the phone as a reflex to call and ask for advice on something Plenty of friends that have offered "a seat at the table", but I'll keep for myself, bit tiresome to keep up a somewhat satisfied facade. Hopefully she'll be able to celebrate it with Homer (the chubby cat) at a better place I
All done early this year. Holiday shopping all done, wrapped & under the tree. Just finished in M&S sorting the Holiday Dinner (£100 for a turkey ffs) Man down this year, middle son is spending the holidays in Cornwall but he’ll be back for Brum away. Happy Holidays!!
Well done and respect to Tommy Coyle and his sponsors for organising a food and gifts give away at his gym and in homes of the needy, as well as opening up his cafe for Christmas dinners for the homeless. A humble man that appreciates what he's got and tries to share. The true spirit of Christmas and a credit to the City. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...ery/tommy-coyle-helps-ensure-everyone-7959476

Just called in Hammonds Food Hall looking for a last minute present. The only other person in the place was a security guard. Doesn't look good, and erm, Paul Adams furniture store is closing down. Merry Christmas.
Aye we were in the other day and it was uninspiring, and very quiet. I was in Paul Adams similar time last year and could have sworn they said they were going to close then. Might have a nosey in because they have some decent stuff there
A take on what, Filey might have said. Next year will be a better year because every year is a good year. A Happy Christmas to everyone on here x
