I've had that for several years - it's a pain in the arse (pun intended).
My doctor said they think that the majority of people develop it as they get older but it isn't necessarily a problem for all so it doesn't always get diagnosed. I had to have the camera up the bum thing (lovely) for a diagnosis.
It's if it develops into diverticulitis it becomes a real discomfort.
Seeds are a problem - I don't know if you include them in some of those things you bake, but you may have to cut them out if you do suffer from the condition.

My wife suffers from ulcerative colitis so I know quite a bit about the bowel and some of the awful symptoms it can give you.Such as ,constipation can give you terrible back ache.

Would it help to grind seeds,or is it something within the seed itself?

It's just the shape I think.
Diverticular disease is small pockets developing in the wall of the intestine, seeds can lodge in them and then they become inflamed. Obviously they have to be things that manage the journey through your stomach and retain their integrity, so grinding them is a solution.
As far as I know, anyway.

I wish I hadn't dropped into this conversation.

Won't be long until you all start talking about famous people who are now dead.

Cold... But well. <ok>. Life is good, just needs to warm up. It's almost never below freezing when the sun's up here. Sun is out and it's -9C here today. Don't remember it being this cold here before. :(

Looking forwards to Xmas dinner (always eat on Xmas Eve so no one has to cook on Xmas day).

We've got gale force winds too... It feels bad out there. Covered the lemon trees in plastic to protect them and the wind just ripped.the plastic sheets to shreds. :(. Hoping they don't die.

It is funny though... Friends in other parts of the country are complaining about -30F weather... Nah.... Don't want that.... There again, if I lived in a place that got that cold I'd probably own a coat. Tomorrow should be above freezing again so all will be right in the world again.

You said -9 Celsius where you are but said -30 Fahrenheit for elsewhere. Isn't -30F about -1C...?

We had -4 & -5 C last couple of weeks, think it maxed about about -7 around here

32 of the Bible bashers degrees is 0

5/8s of a real degree. So -30 of theirs is ****ING COLD.

    Indeed.
One of my extended family is a Russian spy, and she says it regularly gets to -30C or less where she's from - but she feels colder over here because it's a damp cold and gets in your bones whereas back there it's very dry.
Can't say it appeals to me nonetheless.

It's barely below freezing here now... Was -9C earlier but has begun to warm up. Starting tomorrow no more daytime temps below freezing for next few weeks, the nasty storm has passed.

-30F is -34C.... It's colder than I ever want to experience in my life. Getting close to where petrol freezes. 32F is 0C. -30F is a nightmare. We got off lucky compared to most of the country. Storm that brought to country to a halt ran mostly out of steam by the time it reached the Southeast.

Yeah... Didn't feel as bad here today as I was expecting once the 30mph winds stopped, it was actually fairly pleasant because it was dry... It was cold but pleasant.

When the winds were blowing though it was pretty horrendous outside.
