With or without Bassini, it's still a freak show.

Chaps - excellent result last night - good to see the smallest South London team showing us big boys how it's done <cheers>.

Just had an interesting talk, and the following is all speculation.

My contact met up with PV last night - there were no new faces amongst his usual crowd, and PV would not be drawn into discussing anything relating to ownership of CAFC - which is extremely rare for hom apparently.

A few of the wiser heads among the group think that TS has reached out to PV, who has given him some free advise, which he might very well have taken.

They asked PV if he had spoken to TS and if this was the case, and we would not confirm or deny it.

If this IS the case, and TS is admitting his mistakes and trying to correct them (whilst keeping his trap shut) would you fing this acceptable?

This would also explain a lot!!

    Pv's rallying cry
    TS's silence

Not sure how Methven fits into all of this if true, maybe he genuinely did just advise TS like he said.

I want Sandgaard gone. The sooner the better. Everything points to Sandgaard selling but keeping a minority shareholding.

He's been on a downward spiral, so f he can't fund the club (and if he thinks bullying staff is acceptable) time to go.
But.... there are equally bad or worse owners out there. If he is learning to run the club and finally listening, that would be a hug improvement. I say this feeling that it's completely academic how most of us feel - he'll stay or go at whim. But whatever he feels like, my reading of the various factions is that he is gone or going. The short contracts being offered are more likely to be the work of an incoming owner who doesn't want to be lumbered with the second half of the season being played out the way the first half has been. Thus while they negotiate purchase, the squad can be made a bit more competetive. Getting Scott in on a four week contract wouldn't seem likely for an owner looking long term.
So better, but not good. And unlikely.

Sacking Martin, Raelynn and Tony Keohane, replacing them with the right people, letting the manager get on with his job and getting out his wallet when needed- that would be OK, but it's gone too far for that to happen.

Could it be that the takeover is dependant what division we are in next season? This would explain the short-term contracts, and why TS is getting advice from Reg. It would mean it will take place at the end of the season, NDA's have been signed, and we won't hear anything about it until it happens. It would mean the Belgian must have given up on his £50m dream, which was always the stumbling block.

If there is no more investment in the team I would say it's odds even between CAFC being L1 or L2 next season.
If we lose Rak-Sakyi then I think we're odds-on to go down, though I'm aware he's not shining as bright as he once was.

Swapping Stockley for a three legged donkey would improve our survival chances a bit.

I think the team we have is capable of staying up for sure , they showed that the other night against Brighton , we need someone in there that takes the players away from all the back room ****e that’s going on and gets them concentrating and playing footy - We / they need a bit of stability!

    Hope you're right.

We have zero consistency at the moment.
Playing up against Brighton or Man Utd isn't going to prevent us sliding into the 4th tier.
