The Sky article about the January 6 committee is a complete non story and even states as much. Whether criminal proceedings are brought is entirely the preserve of the US Justice Department, not a bunch of Democrat congressmen/women with an axe to grind. Of more interest perhaps is this: US House committee votes to make Donald Trump's tax returns public That depends on what the tax returns reveal and the point of view of the reader. If they show that Trump had avoided paying taxes as much as possible then his supporters will be delighted as they hate Big State wasting their money and avoid taxes in just the same way. Obviously the Left will be outraged that somebody has played the system to their advantage while the Left are either too stupid, employ accountants that are too stupid or they have not revealed their own tax returns as they have avoided taxes in just the same way. What is expected to happen is that Trump’s tax returns will show that he avoided taxes by various dubious methods involving companies that he owned, which made massive losses on investments made by others, and those losses have been used to offset against taxes that he would have been expected to pay.
I have a problem with Biden and it's not really do with anything he has done while he's president, as I just don't follow it closely enough, but more to do with what he hasn't done. I remember his first words after that mayhem with Trump, which were along the lines of he was the president for everyone, sadly for me he has not achieved that, and the divides between left and right are greater than ever. Maybe the troubles are too big for Biden to deal with, maybe too big for any man, but everytime I see congress witch hunting Trump, it creates even greater divide and if they are not careful, next time the past Capitol building escapades will seem minor in comparison, once the American right wing nuts tool themselves up, better prepared. I'm not saying Trump should not be held to account, well none more so than George Bush should have been, before that crazy bat Pelosi protected his arse but because the orange man caused a problem on homeland, rather than killing thousands miles away, a different set of rules seemed to have applied.

Apparently the Russians took out a few thousand pounds worth of ads on Facebook which almost certainly qualified as Russian interference and swung the 2016 referendum though .
