Because Willock had fallen over (was then in theory offside) Wilson tried to miss him and take the ball around him but the ball clipped him (basically meaning he was involved in the build up). Wilson has said he thought it was offside too now as a result.
At gig last night so didn't see game, victory is a victory. 3 scrape throughs have nicely brought us to the quarters.
Results are results at the end of the day, and I was worried getting back to club games may be a shock for them after a long lay off, but they pulled through. Yeah the finishing was crap, but at least we dominated and had all the chances. If we can avoid City we have a good chance, a home draw Vs Soton or Leicester would be a huge chance for the semis.
Except on review, he wasn't actually offside, nor did the ball clip him. In fact he made great a great effort to avoid it. If this is incorrect, I blame the quality of the stream, rather than my eyesight or understanding of the laws of the game.
Give over... We'll smash them. Can't go hiding at this stage of the competition - chest out, chin up and give it to anyone we come up against. It's the only way. I guarantee Leicester will be more frightened of us than the opposite.
They are 4 straight wins in the prem and going strong in this Cup.. would be a tough game imo. I'd rather they get man City or Man united next round
Bring it on. He already bet me that we wouldn't finish in the top 7 this season, and that ones looking good for me.
At least 4 of the ties look very winnable - Soton, Wolves, Charlton/Brighton and Blackburn/Forest. Leicester we'd fancy our chances, but Man U and Liverpool/City we'd be the underdogs. More than evens chance of a winnable tie.
