I can't name specific's but my impression is that your track record's not good for inside knowledge. It tends to be vague 'ishy' comments or things that are fairly common knowledge that you then tie to later events.
It is actually true that both AP and NP think Papa Allam is a bit bonkers and I do think that if AP had left to run Eff Cee on a full time basis we might be in a far more difficult position, but fortunately he didn't and still says he doesn't want to, so it's not really as issue.
Just wondering to what extent the Allams have contributed to NP's alleged departure. There were all those cryptic comments from NP around Joe Corrigan's exit. NP seemd less than pleased. Plus, there was all the nonsense around that Egyptian goalie. Not sure this is just about money. NP has a successful track record of working with young teams. Leicester isn't going to offer that, he is going to have more highly paid primma donnas to manage. it just doesn't add up! As with anything in life, if he does go it probably isn't just one contributory factor but several: 1) More money 2) Leicester being the bigger club (don't let's argue that one) and with more potential 3) Negative City fans (not all, but we do have our fair share of pea brains masquerading as supporters) 4) Negative media 5) Questonable confidence in City's owners ability to manage and commitment to spend 1) and 2) maybe on their own wouldn't have swayed it but when you throw in 3) 4) and 5) probably just enough to tip the balance. I'll be gutted if he goes as arguably the first 45 mins against West Ham were the best football I have seen us play since the mid 80s.
One thing about Nigel when he was here he had a fall out with the local media here. He doesnt like the media does he
When we was rumoured to be after Martin O'Neill he wanted 2 assurances from the owners about money and time. I am sure Nigel will want the same and after what he did first time around he will get the same, we still have quite a bit of the squad that Nigel built still here (Wellens, Dyer, Gallagher, Weale, Waghorn, Berner, Oakley, King)
He's probably right. Our results were ace in those early PL days but the football was more functional than scintillating. We were superb for most of the game on Saturday but were punished heavily for our wastefulness.
What concerned about issues with the Allams (they are a least local) rather than the Thai's. Mandaric the problem, then the Allams - give me a break.
The difference is I'm pretty sure Lester have a chief exec that Nigel likes. He wont be dealing with the Thais direct. How many times do I have to say this - if one Pearson was staying then I'm sure the other would.
i think the fact that Papa Allam has spent close to 50 million quid on saving Hull City AFC from ruin is proof enough.lol. was it not howling mad murdock(a-team) who said it was a comfort to be touch mad or thought of as being mad ? AP has now got hull fc sorted and up and running with his own people in charge so he should now be able to devote more time to sorting out Hull City. the rumours on AP leaving city started the day he bought FC, i wonder why ?
it would be very strange if AP did leave. imo, NP has gone for the cash pure and simple. i also think that NP will get sacked in the summer regardless of how lesta do this season. but a payoff of almost 3 million quid is well worth it. if lesta do get to the PL the Thai owners will want a big name to attract big players. if lesta dont go up then the sword of damaclees Hangs above NP head. who would not go for that sort of pay-off.?
You do post a lot of rubbish. There's no way Leicester would sack NP at the end of the season if he brought them automatic promotion.
not as much as you old son. how nieve can you be. of course they will. they sacked sven who was not exactly getting them relegated. tell you what put your money where your oversized mouth is. assuming that NP ever starts at lesta. 2/1 NP gets sacked next summer regardless. there. put up or shut up. :
