So good to see Brook translating domestic form into international form. I never doubted his ability - the guy is ridiculously talented - but until someone actually actually plays international cricket, you never know if they'll succeed or not. Early signs are very good indeed. No doubt he'll go through ups and downs throughout his career. But in general, I suspect Yorkshire fans may have to add Brooks to the list of their players who they'll barely ever see again going forward.
Ahmed has had some help with some really poor shots, but it's a very encouraging test debut. He can also bat so he's not there just for his bowling. Now, I can't see him being picked for tests in England just yet but he's pretty much guaranteed himself a spot on the India tour next year I would say.
I should be used it to by now, but the start of this run chase is just mind-bogglingly good. If Nathan Jones can have even half the impact that McCullum has had, it would be sensational.
